ALabama International Education and Economic Partnership receives grant from the Alabama State Council on the Arts

Montgomery, Alabama – Alabama International Education and Economic Partnership (ALIEEP) has received a $6,200.00 grant from the Alabama State Council on the Arts to fund their community-based theatre performance “Love OVER Fear.”

With these funds, ALIEEP will produce an engaging performance that aims to connect different cultures and foster dialogue and understanding between communities. This grant signifies that through this project, ALIEEP is making Alabama’s communities stronger and our state’s arts and culture sector more vibrant.

“We are thrilled to receive this grant from the Alabama State Council on the Arts,” says Mrs. Han, ALIEEP Executive Director. “‘Love OVER Fear’ will unite diverse perspectives and spark important conversations, strengthening our communities and enhancing Alabama’s cultural landscape.”

“Love OVER Fear” is scheduled to debut in May of 2025. This initiative will not only entertain and be a beacon for cultural exchange but will also provide a space for artists of different cultures to come together as one in support of each other’s talents, passions and backgrounds.

This grant, awarded by the Alabama State Council on the Arts, is made possible through funding from an annual appropriation from the Alabama State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts. This public support enables ALIEEP to reach new audiences, foster community development, provide the highest quality programming, and demonstrate the importance of the arts as a key component for quality of life in Alabama.
