[Bridge of Unity in Diversity] LEAD Academy Teacher Appreciation Meal

ALIEEP recently hosted a memorable teacher appreciation luncheon at LEAD Academy, where more than 75 teachers and staff were treated Korean foods (Sweet and Spicy Fried Chicken, Gimbap, and etc) on Korean/Asian day. Beyond simply providing a meal, the event was a deliberate effort to underscore the significance o   f multicultural diversity education in our community.

Amidst the delightful spread of dishes, ALIEEP forged deeper ties with LEAD Academy, a pioneering charter school in Montgomery. Since its establishment in 2019, LEAD Academy has demonstrated remarkable flexibility in its operations and management, rendering invaluable support to ALIEEP such as adopting Korean as their second language. From offering venues for cultural events to providing internship opportunities for foreign teachers, LEAD Academy has been a steadfast partner in ALIEEP’s mission to promote cross-cultural understanding and collaboration.

Through this collaborative effort, ALIEEP not only celebrated the contributions of educators but also strengthened its partnership with LEAD Academy, exemplifying the power of unity in advancing multicultural diversity education.
