Montgomery, Al, December 2, 2025 — Alabama International Education and Economic Partnership (ALIEEP), a nonprofit supporting multilingual education and workforce development in Alabama, recognized Park Crossing High School’s Principal Fountain and Ms. Yang Zeng with Certificates of Appreciation for welcoming trainee Pan Yiling into the Chinese Language classroom. Their support enabled Yiling to observe common practices and gain experience in an American classroom environment.

For one month, Yiling visited Park Crossing High School twice a week. She designed lesson plans centered on artistic expression, using hands-on activities and interactive discussions to keep students engaged.

Executive Director Meesoon Han awarded two certificates and gift bags to Ms. Yang  and Principal Fountain. In Principal Fountain’s absence, Assistant Principal Dr. Greer accepted the award on her behalf.

Ms. Yang’s mentorship inspired Yiling to continue developing as an educator through innovative practices. During the ceremony, Ms. Yang welcomed Yiling to keep in touch beyond the Intern Exchange Program.
Ms. Yang has been an exceptional mentor throughout my classroom experience in Montgomery. She took the time to introduce me to the local educational environment, explaining how the school system operates and discussing the challenges teachers may encounter in today’s classrooms. Her guidance has helped me understand the mindset and professionalism expected of the next generation of educators,” said Pan Yiling, ALIEEP trainee.
ALIEEP will continue fostering its partnership with Park Crossing High School. Yiling exemplifies ALIEEP’s collective mission with Montgomery Public Schools (MPS) and the state of Alabama to produce global leaders.
