What is the ALIEEP Internship?
The ALIEEP internship tailors the experience to each junior or senior’s major or career path. The program serves domestic college students seeking professional development in a nonprofit environment. Selected students will tackle high-stakes projects, engage stakeholders in conversation, and see their hard work benefit our organization.
*Housing may be provided for interns who require accommodations.
Does ALIEEP Qualify?
Qualifications:
- Junior, senior, or master’s student enrolled in a four-year accredited college or university
- A proactive self-starter who identifies opportunities, solves problems, and asks for more when the work’s done
- Reliable transportation (ALIEEP does not provide transit services)
- Familiarity with WordPress or willingness to learn
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro)
- Strong writing skills for blogs, newsletters, and social media captions
How Long is the Program?
The program is a three-month on-site program at the ALIEEP headquarters in Montgomery, Alabama. However, an extension or return offer may be provided for exemplary interns.

Does ALIEEP provide transportation?
No, ALIEEP does not provide transportation. All interns must have reliable transportation for the duration of their time with the company.
Does ALIEEP provide housing?
Yes, ALIEEP provides housing for interns who require accommodations. Interns may be assigned a roommate, typically matched based on gender or availability.
How often are interns paid?
Interns are paid every two weeks.
How much are interns paid?
Interns are paid $1,600 per month. Interns are expected to work weekends and evenings upon request to assist with event execution and planning
