What is a Federal Work-Study ?
A Federal Work-Study program provides students in financial need with part-time employment at organizations and institutions that actively engage in community outreach and align with students’ academic endeavors, particularly those related to their major or career goals.
Does ALIEEP Qualify?
As a non-profit organization, ALIEEP qualifies as an off-campus employer due to our mission statement and commitment to civic education through multicultural events that educate and welcome all citizens.
What will YOU be doing?
Your role will align with the pursued academic major or career goals.
- Communications: Assist our PR Specialist in drafting internal and external materials.
- Marketing: Create various collateral for multi-platform engagement, i.e., graphics, videos, reels, and research.
- Accounting: Learn grant writing and apply for various funding opportunities
- Education: Build a network, shadow S.T.E.A.M. Educators, and develop lesson planning skills
