Is ALIEEP a credible organization?
ALIEEP maintains several partnerships with school systems, academic institutions, and government agencies. For example, ALIEEP is commissioned by the Alabama State Legislature and funded by the Department of Education and Commission of Higher Education.
 
Additionally, we have partnerships with the Ministries of Education in South Korea and Taiwan.

What visas are ALIEEP able to provide?
ALIEEP sponsors H-1 B visas for S.T.E.A.M. Educator candidates. However, some may be approved for the J-1 visa, requiring them to return home upon contract completion.
 
Regarding the internship exchange program, all participants are sponsored with a J-1 visa.
Unknown to many, Alabama is home to many different cultures and communities. The presence of manufacturing companies such as Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, and Mercedes has diversified the state’s economy. In Montgomery, we have a larger Korean population alongside Vietnamese and Chinese. Southern hospitality welcomes all in a warm, understanding, and friendly atmosphere.
No, ALIEEP provides internship opportunities for both domestic and international students. For domestic students, ALIEEP offers customizable internships tailored to students’ majors and career goals. Historically, our international interns/trainees participating in the Intern Exchange Program come to ALIEEP for a specific area of focus, such as accounting, education, or marketing.
Currently, eight educators have been placed through the S.T.E.A.M. Educator Program across Alabama. We foresee more placements in the coming months and years.
