About me
Hello, my name is Sara Hsieh. I am a passionate Mandarin Chinese teacher with a strong interest in language education and cross-cultural exchange. I have participated in two Work and Travel programs in the United States, where I developed strong adaptability and communication skills in English-speaking environments.
I hold a CWT Superior Certificate, a TOEIC Gold Certificate, and an IELTS score of 6.5. I am also certified in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (TCSOL) and have obtained Taiwan’s official certification in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. In 2025, I earned my secondary school teaching certificate in Chinese language education in Taiwan.
I have around six years of tutoring experience. In early 2025, I completed a 120-hour teacher training program through the Fulbright Program.
Currently, I am participating in an internship at ALIEEP in Alabama, United States, where I am involved in educational outreach, cultural exchange, and administrative support while gaining insights into the U.S. education system.
